Cova is the last of his race. Stolen from his slaughtered parents by a pitying Demi-demon he was imbued with darkness to make him little more than a mindless slave, though just before imbued one word was imprinted that they called him, “Mouse.” After being coated with dark magic his body was forced to grow, turning him into a malformed creature, unrecognizable as an elf. Reddish black skin, misshapen into a cowering bent over position, thus his true nature was hidden from the Demi-demon’s lord. The dark power also gave him some semblance of intelligence, enough to serve them, understand what they were saying, and respond. While buried beneath the power his child’s mind knew only one word. The one imprinted upon him before the infusion of dark magic, “mouse.”
After a while he became noticed by the Lord and was chosen to be his servant, to be used and abused. And whilst in that form, his true elfin self grew and aged, it went unnoticed by the Lord. The magic coating the child blended into the surrounding magical aura leaving him well concealed.
After five years of abject servitude he became servant to Ayame after her capture, who was the first person to show him true kindness. Eventually he was requested to prepare items for their escape when Visa arrived and in doing so came upon a pale blue metallic cylinder that he just had to have. So he took it, carrying it with him and refusing to be parted from it long enough to even pack it away for their escape.
Shortly after their escape from the fortress, his form was purified of the dark magic that had covered him for so long, revealing a five year old elfin child with long silver hair and pale white skin. However since the only word he knew before the imbuement of dark energy was the word, “mouse,” it was the only word he knew after the darkness was purified since all his knowledge was implanted by the magic, as opposed to actually being learned.
When hit by the light the pale blue metallic cylinder turned into a bow, small enough and light enough for the child to wield easily.
