*The doors of the old Tavern opened to there fullest extent to reveal a well built male with light tanned skin, his raven black wavy hair held back in a low ponytail, he moved into the room and slowly looked around. His dark brown eyes scanned the room slowly. he walked towards the bar and sat down, his black sleeveless shirt left nothing to the imagination, his black pants baggy enough that they didn't cling to his legs, his boots army addition and steal toe capped. He leaned against the bar as the tender came over to him, he spoke to him* A pulled pork sandwich with fries and a soda water please. *The tender nodded to him and moved off to get his order.*

Hazel eyes lifted from the glass of soda she'd been drinking, taking in the new arrival. She'd been here for days, would probably be here for more days, and by now she'd seen a lot of people come and go. Sliding her chair back she stood and walked over to the bar looking for a refill, "give me a refill," her voice was soft, quiet, husky, sensual. She shoved a hand through her jaw length, blood red, hair revealing a very intricate tattoo running from forehead to just below her right eye. The tattoo matched ones on her arms and in other places. All were varying shades of red. Leaning forward, she rested her arms on the top of the bar. Her tank top billowed forward slightly with the motion, catching a bit on the black denim jeans she was wearing. A black combat booted foot took up residence on the metal foot bar running along the underside of the counter. Slender fingers tapped out a rhythm as she waited for her drink. Her eyes were always constantly scanning the area, what for no one could tell, but she was seldom off her guard.

Around the room customers were still taking bets on how old she was and occasionally someone would yell out, "Nineteen!" or other various numbers to which she would simply grin and shake her head no. She nodded vaguely to the newcomer but that was all she did to really acknowledge his arrival and the instant the Bartender set her glass down she picked it up and went back to the table she'd been using almost exclusively since she had arrived nearly two weeks ago, give or take a couple days.

*Ronan smirked softly and nodded back to her* Hey...*He looked to the ones that were shouting out ages. He shook his head and spoke* Gentlemen should never inquire about a ladies age. And It isn't gentleman like to guess a ladies age, It's actually rude to do so.

*He turned in his seat and looked towards her, he smiled softly* You Miss are a beautiful young lady...I'm Ronan...May I buy you another soda when you are ready for it?

*He picked up his soda water as it was placed down in front of him and lifted it in a 'cheers' mannerism.*

She gestured, a silent invitation for him to join her, and smiled a bit at the compliment but shook her head at his offer, "refills are free," her softly lilting voice drifted to him as if directed, "and as for them guessing my age...It doesn't bother me that they have found a neutral form of amusement. There are many other forms of amusement that are less...neutral and far more dangerous." She kicked back, placing her booted feet stretched out in front of her beneath the table. She'd already eaten dinner this evening, though she was giving some consideration to dessert. "So what brings you here, sir?"

*Ronan stood up and grabbed his plate of fries and the pulled pork sandwich, he moved towards her table and placed down the placed and his glass* Thank you for the invitation Miss. And I came here for a bit to eat and relax before setting on my way to find a job. What draws you here Miss?

*He moved to the seat across from her and sat down, the chair creaked under his weight even though he did not look to be so heavy.*

Taking a long sip she sighed out, "not a damned thing. I just...travel. Wander. Watch the people. Avoid unnecessary annoyances. That's pretty much it. I should be in school but fuck it. I should be living with parents but fuck them too. I go my own way. Do my own thing." There was obviously a story there given the anger behind the words but she wasn't going to specify without some seriously pointed questions. Her right hand dipped beneath the table and she grimaced just barely noticeably and some odd sounds could be heard coming from beneath the table...sort of like the wood was being scratched or clawed. A few moments later and her hand returned to the table's surface to grasp the glass. She considered a moment, "There were farmers looking for hired hands to help bring in the crops around here. I heard a couple men talking about it last night. If you're serious about work it IS a job."

*Ronan frowned a little and spoke* I'm sorry to hear that you have grievances with your parents Miss...Not all are meant to be parents...Are you alright? *He noticed the small grimace, he knew something was wrong but not what* And thank you for telling me of work that you know is available I will see the farmers you speak of.

*He took in a deep breath, unknown to her he was also taking in the scents around him, checking to see if she was injured or not.* How long have you been here Miss? I'm Ronan Reigns Miss.

"I don't have issues with my parents," she smirked, "mother had a little boy recently and both she and my step father decided that the daughter of another mother should leave. Both are step parents. Mother inherited me from my father when he died." Her pupils changed shape, the black elongating just a bit within the hazel iris, giving her a more exotic appearance. "Along with his fortune. Lucky for me father ensured that I would always be taken care of." Leaning forward she scowled, "I'm fine. Happy being alone. Happier keeping to myself. I'm already three states away from them. I'll probably keep on going, living minimally, doing nothing. Until I get bored or find some of my mother's family, though who the hell KNOWS if they exist." Her right hand twitched and she shook it a bit, "I'm fine. Might have to get out of here soon. Been here for a little under two weeks and I'm getting the itch to get back into the wilder places with less people." She wasn't injured, but he would be able to tell she wasn't exactly human either.

*Ronan smiled softly and spoke* I know of the itch of which you speak of Miss And what family did your mother come from? Maybe I can be of help in finding them *He rested back in his seat and smiled softly. If she scented him, she'd find that he wasn't human himself but something she may have never scented before as he was a rare breed.*

Shrugging she sighed, "I have no idea really. Father never spoke of them, though maybe he couldn't or wasn't allowed to given how secretive he was about mother and her people." Taking a swig that emptied the glass she waved to the bartender for a refill before going back to her train of thought, "Mother died when I was born. Father named me. Wouldn't ever speak of her at all. He married the bitch a few years ago. Pretty sure she killed him but eh I'm just a teenager what the hell do I know. Doesn't matter that I could SMELL the crap she was lacing into the food. Humans are very stupid. They don't take what anyone younger than an adult has to say into account." Looking around she sneered, though the facial expression was lost in the shadows as she leaned back. Her eyes though, they shone in the darkness eerily, "I forgot to introduce myself. I'm Aimee Teegra." The bartender set the fresh glass down in front of her and walked off with the old, empty, one.

*Ronan sat there listening to her, he frowned and spoke* Maybe he was so secretive because he did not want to put you at risk or he didn't fully understand things himself Aimee.

*He smiled and bowed his head a little* It's a pleasure to meet you Aimee. I'm Ronan...The other reason he may not have wanted to speak of such things is because he knew nothing of your mothers heritage...

*He smiled softly at her as he seen those glowing eyes and let his own shift to that of his big cat. He said nothing to her about this.*

Sighing she shrugged, "the only thing I have to go on are these markings on me. I was born with them. Whether father knew anything or not is beyond me to know since he's dead now. Its not like I can talk to the dead," she noted how his eyes changed and smirked a bit, "so are you staying here at the inn? Or will you be getting your own place in town?"

After considering for a moment she stated, "You're looking for a job. I have the cash to hire someone as like, a body guard or something. Its cleaner than working on a farm. I wouldn't mind having someone along. Kinda tired of getting hit on," she was purposely ignoring the weird guy from the table behind her that kept sniffing her hair and running fingers down her spine, out of sight of everyone because of the shadows she was sitting in.

*Ronan smiled to her and spoke* I am staying at the inn Aimee. *His eyes moved to the man's outstretched hand and he moved swiftly before he could touch Aimee's back once again, she'd hear the bones in his hand breaking under the grip of Ronan's hand, he spoke "Do not ever touch a young lady without her permission again or I will see to it, you loose that hand for good...

*The man screamed in pain and paled as the pain ran through his body from his hand. Ronan released his hand and sat down once again. He looked to her with a gentle smile* Forgive me for my rudeness of my reaction and I would be happy to accompany you and become your body guard.

She barely had time to blink before the guy who was bothering her was shrieking in pain. Which caused her some discomfort because her hearing was quite sensitive. Grinning she stood up, "Good. Oh and I see absolutely no reason why you should be paying for your own room when I've rented the only two room suite here. I only need one room so you can use the other one." She walked to the bar, ignoring the guy still howling in pain, "Yo Bartender. Bring up a couple 2-liters of this stuff," she waved the glass to indicate the dark cola, "some ice, and a few burger combo meals. Put it on my tab please," then turned towards the stairs, "Bring your food with you if you want or stick around here and eat. My room is number 109. I'll be waiting."

*Ronan smiled slightly* I'm sorry my actions also caused you discomfort...*He stood as she did, He smiled and watched her, he moved to her side and spoke* Thank you Aimee. It would make it much easier for protecting you if i am in the next room to you. *He followed her as she moved towards the stairs, leaving his food where it was, only grabbing his drink* I have no reason to stay down here, I'd be useless in the case of protecting you if i remained down stairs.

*She'd get the feeling that he had done this sort of work before just from how he was acting.*

Pausing, she waited and huffed out, "go get your food. If necessary I'll carry it. Geeze," rolling her eyes a bit at his immediate responses, "You officially start TOMORROW. Like any other job, Mister. Today you get situated and stuff. In three days I'm moving on from this place."

*Ronan smiled and spoke* I have had enough of what was there Aimee. And A protector or body guard is always on duty even during times of rest. *He followed her and waited to see how she responded to what he said.*

Her eyes narrowed, "now listen here bub!" She poked his chest, "Body guarding is your secondary job. First is being a traveling companion. Got it?" Turning she stomped down the hall to her room and shoved the door open, not noticing that it had been slightly ajar as opposed to shut and locked.

*Ronan smirked and nodded but said nothing, he frowned having noticed that the door opened easily and likely shouldn't have. He moved straight for the door she had just gone through.*

Glancing around she had a very bewildered look on her face. The rooms had been ransacked. Her bag had been gone through and the contents scattered all over the room. Shirts, jeans, panties, and socks were laying on the floor, hanging from the ceiling fan, strewn over the lamp and bed, "what the...hell?" She walked further into the room she'd been sleeping in and started picking up her clothing, "well at least I didn't have much but clothing. Doesn't make any sense though. Anything valuable I keep on me because luggage can be lost too easily...why would anyone...it's not like I have much of value...," her voice trailed off and she lifted the edge of the mattress and sighed in relief when the frame was there. Tugging it out she opened it and removed the old photograph inside, a picture of her mother and father together whilst her mother had been pregnant with her.

Sounds came from the other room, the one she'd intended Ronan to use and she spun around to head towards the noise instinctively.

*Ronan reached the room as the noise was made, he moved swiftly to step in her path, he looked to her and placed his finger to his lips telling her to be quiet, he then turned his attention to the room he was meant to be in, he moved towards the room, he slowly moved into the room. He slowly looked around, being careful and cautious*

All he would see is a puffy pink fuzzy butt and tail sticking out of a drawer. Aimee followed him into the room, quietly of course, and then she snorted, "you!" and stomped inside the rest of the way and over to the dresser, reached into the drawer, and tugged out a raccoon that started yammering, "awee c'mon, sis! Ya know a fella's gotta search fer food!" She glared at him then gave him a good shake, "then why are my clothes strewn all over the place?" He couldn't help it. He had to grin, "Yer panties are too cute to keep hidden! It's a crime I tell ya, sis! A crime!!" She passed him to Ronan. Her right eyebrow was twitching off and on, the only real show of her extreme annoyance, "why did you follow me, sharky?"

He huffed, "sorry babe but I couldn't stay in that house with those people! You don't know what they were talkin' about doin' to me," he got this truly horrified look on his face, "they were gonna cut off my boyz," he pointed down to his 'jewels', "my baby makin' rocky mountain oysters!"

She shuddered, "enough. I thought you were happy there...all the free fish you wanted.." to which he interrupted, "Well yeah! Free food and I'm a raccoon of COURSE I'm gonna stay! B-but...I can't have them going and cutting off my junk, sis! I got women to meet, babies to make...gotta keep the were-coons going strong, ya know? Plus," he inhaled and his mouth went running off some more, "I did promise your mother I'd look after you and yer father...and he's dead and been replaced with a ball-whacker-offer!"

She strode out of the room. He looked at the guy she'd shoved him to, "look ya understand right? Who wants their balls whacked off? Its a CRIME Mister! A total crime! Ya gotta convince Mz fuzzy butt to let me stay! Ya just GOTTA!!!"

*Ronan watched silently, he looked to the Raccoon as he was placed into his hand then back to her. He listened to what the male raccoon said and frowned slightly.* I can understand you're want to leave that place if they threaten such a thing. you aren't a pet are you? *He tilted his head and looked to Aimee* What would you like me to do with him Miss Aimee? *He stood there holding the smaller animal in his hand, if the raccoon took in his scent, he'd figure out how much danger he could be in if Ronan became hungry within the next few minutes.*

A quick inhale had the pink Raccoon quivering, "Sis! SIS! Ya can't leave me with hi~m he'll eat me fer sure!! It'll be no more Coonie babies all over the place. Just ick coonie blood," he tried to escape even as she turned around. He gulped at the smile she sent his way, "awe c'mon Sis! Ya don't gotta...," he quieted down as she gave him a very toothy grin. His fur changed from bright pink to a dull pink as his mood shifted and he calmed down.

She continued to stomp out the door and into her room to begin straightening it. In her temper fit she failed to notice one glaring thing and he giggled as he adjusted the panties he'd tugged onto his head and his fur brightened just a bit as he did so.

Throughout the suite her mutterings about perverted Fairy Raccoons could be heard, though what she was actually saying...couldn't be clearly made out. She shouted, "Go ahead and get settled, grab your stuff, do what you need to do...just...take mister fuzzybutt with you please! Otherwise I might kill him in a most brutal and flashy fashion..."
