And so it begins....

Shera stated, "stay here Ella," then raced away through the darkness. Once she was far enough away that the girl couldn't follow or identify where her voice was coming from she laughed, "stay the Hell away from me! Oh and...you can find your OWN way back."

Ella stared around, confused. But...she turned and started walking the other way, her hand sliding along the wall. She was stuffing stuff in her many pockets without even thinking about it. Behind her...a fireball exploded but she ignored it and kept walking. All around her traps went off, and she avoided them all with ease. She squeaked as she fell into a hidden walkway, landing hard on her side. Standing she muttered, "oww," wondering where her bodyguard Saren had gotten to. She thought he'd been following, but she wasnt too sure. Her stomach growled and she bent down...even as a spike was thrust out of the wall and into the other side. She wandered....alone through the tunnels. Her pockets and pouches soon bulged with her finds and still she continued forward, somehow avoiding each and every trap she set off with a natural ability that only the kender truly possess.

As far back as possible Seran waited. His forward movement was hindered by a certain young half-kender who triggered every trap in this dungeon. He was inching forward, avoiding traps after they reset. He was sure he was gonna get barbecued, electrocuted, an acid bath, doused in water or any other potential that could happen. The was until he got to the door.

That along had taken every ounce of his skill. Ella would never learn to just avoid traps. then again she may not have even saw the traps to begin with. Her kind typically just kept going without even noticing such things as fire erupted all around them. Kender luck was famous..or was that infamous, among all worlds. When he finally stumbled through the hidden door, he was breathing heavy. there was gashes on his cheek from a knife and dart trap. his armor was dented by heavy blows, he needed a bath to cleanse the mild acid from his armor and body, he had been electrocuted by sonic traps and did he mention that he had no eyebrows left after tripping and getting blasted full in the face with a fire trap ella had just triggered.

If he survived, he would kill Shera for this. She really had tried to get Ella killed and when the bodyguard nearly dies its a worse punishment. Gurgy and Shera's master would most definently here about this latest ploy to get rid of Ella. He doubted they would be thrilled by Shera's actions.

He looked around to get his bearings, then continued to follow Ella's progress. wondering where in the hell they were even going. since this was not even close to the way they had come. Unless he had gotten turned around during the traps. they were headed in the opposite direction than the facility was located.*

Ella kept moving forward, until a large wall loomed high to block her path. She'd set off several ice traps and one mist trap but had...as usual managed to avoid the effects. She stared at the wall then began to climb, finding hand and foot holds for her small fingers. Her hands tended to skim the surface picking up stuff randomly and causing a rock trap or two to fall down. She scrambled up and over the lip and as she bent down a very sharp knife-like object flew over her head and fell over the edge to swing on a rope back and forth. Ella's stomach growled and she took the far right path towards what she KNEW would lead to food.
